Confused about the "The Hackathon IS NOT open to:" section
The Hackathon IS NOT open to
Individuals who are residents of, or Organizations domiciled in, a country, state, province or territory where the laws of the United States or local law prohibits participating or receiving a prize in the Hackathon (including, but not limited to, New York, Florida, Arizona, India, Sweden, The Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, Norway, Italy, Russia, Indonesia, Argentina, France, Mexico, Poland, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, Syria and any other country designated by the United States Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control)
I am resident of Massachusetts, am I eligible?
Anyone from NY, FL & AZ is not eligible?

Hello Ahmed
Unfortunately, the Office of Foreign Assets Control states on it's website the following .
"The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) does not maintain a specific list of countries that U.S. persons cannot do business with. "
Reasoning why can be found here ....
https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/Programs/Pages/faq_10_page.aspx
For this reason, I would be hesitant to state unequivocally that Yeman is eligible.

UPDATE: our legal team has given me a more definitive answer. We can not accept submissions from Yeman. Sorry about that :-(
